Ray Harryhausen's Fantasy Scrapbook | Animate Projects Observer

To mark publication of Ray Harryhausen's Fantasy Scrapbook, a hardback celebration of the work of the legendary animator, Aurum press have teamed up with the Barbican and online community Don't Panic to launch an animation competition judged by Nick Park.

The prize includes the chance to have your animation screened at the Barbican during a special Ray Harryhausen event in spring 2012. The winner will receive an individual hour long session with animation tutors at the National School of Film and Television, free yellow membership to the Barbican and signed copies of Ray Harryhausen's Fantasy Scrapbook, The Art of Ray Harryhausen and A Century of Modern Animation.

Entry to the competition is via story board for an animation idea. Upload your story board via Don't Panic here where it will sit in an online gallery. The public will then be able to vote for their favourites. A winner will be chosen from ten shortlisted storyboards from a judging panel of industry experts.

Ray HarryHausen's Fantasy Scrapbook is now available to buy online.

Deadline for entry is 12 February.
